National Readership Survey

The aim of the survey is to identify readership audience of newspapers and magazines. Data extracted in the course of the research allows assessing the average audience of a single newspaper/magazine issue as well as overall readership audience, readership audience overlap and segments of publication readers. The research is carried out on a monthly basis; the reports are submitted every quarter (winter, spring, summer and autumn). National readership survey does not require data on all publications in circulation in Lithuania. The research measured the audience of over 200 print publications. Applying multi-stage random selection, we survey more than 1,500 respondents all over Lithuania every quarter. The age of the respondents ranges between 15-74 years. The maximal statistical error allowed in the research amounts to ± 2.6 %.
